He's not overtly forceful, but she hadn't anticipated on events playing out that way. It just doesn't feel like his style. They both seem to have a clear outcome in mind, even if they're both somewhat dancing around it at the moment, circling around each other and waiting to see who's close to making that first move, taking the step that breaks all the distance that remains. Ellen's the one who does so now, directly crossing into the room in a stride that can't be misinterpreted, brushing past him as she does so. Her hands move to rest on her hips as she glances around with her back to him, taking in the style of everything, from the walls to the bed. "It's bigger than I expected, but I'm guessing that was the original designer's intention," she murmurs. "Did you change anything after you moved in?"
