"Hint at something?" she asks, echoing the question and immediately following it with a shake of her head. In a way, she's thrown down the gauntlet with the question, because he could be taking her to any other room in the entire place if he so chose, but he appears to be taking the most direct route, and she can respect him for that, respect mixed with a little admiration, the way she respects a fellow lawyer when they've made a fair case. Still, she doesn't stride into the room outright, but hovers in the doorway, resting her fingertips lightly against the frame, and gently eases off the balls of her feet to rest flat against the floor. "I guess I'd only end up hinting at something if we choose to stay here," she quietly adds.
